Language and Love

How can language and love go hand in hand?

Can learning a language improve your love life? Of course it can. Why? Because learning a language is downright romantic, especially when you do it together. It's always romantic when you and your partner get to do enjoyable things together.

By learning a language, you will be able to talk to each other, and write love notes and letters in the language. Not to mention singing songs and traveling to a country where the language is spoken on your next vacation together.

General Tips:

  • Learn a language together
  • Write an adventure romance story together. It would be nice to include actual adventures that happened in your life or if you might be good at writing, why not write a novel based on your relationship?
  • Move to a foreign country together
  • Get surprise travel tickets to a country where you can speak your new language
Last but not least I'm gonna give you a tip on "writing" a new language. Which one is that? One you made up! Okay, I know I'm sending you back to high school on this one, but sometimes it's good to feel sixteen again, and it is really very romantic:

Create a special alphabet, either individually or together. You start by creating symbols to represent each letter of the alphabet (You can also have a symbol for a space). They should be easy to draw. Then write a love note, letter or poem in your new alphabet and give it to your loved one to translate. You can keep the note and nobody would know what's in your note unless they know the code.

This is very easy and simple, and it doesn't cost a cent. Plus, your special someone would really appreciate the time you put into it (if they have a romantic bone in their body).
